음악제작소 WeMu (KOREA)
<음악제작소 WeMu>는 한국의 전통 무속장단과 선율을 응용하여 새롭게 창작하는 형식의 작품 활동을 지향하며, 본인들이 속한 전문적인 분야로만 귀결되는 것이 아니라 대중들도 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 음악을 만드는 팀이다. 무속음악에 장단과 무가, 무구 만드는 법 등을 학습하며 작품에 녹여 내는 과정들을 이어가고 있으며, 이러한 과정들이 우리의 음악적 색채에 대한 고민과 결합하여 많은 이들에게 좋은 에너지를 전달해 줄 수 있게 되기를 희망한다.
Korean shamanic band “WeMu”is a band based on Korean traditional sharmonic music, especiaaly Shamanic jangdan(beats) and melodies. “WeMu” means into Our(We) and Music(Mu). And it also has the meaning of the music that everyone can enjoy together no matter. They hope audience like their unique Korean traditional music and get all the positive energy from their performance.
